All our shops are mainly volunteer staffed. All shops have a manager part or full time and there are a couple of key volunteers in place around the area. We also have Training and ‘back to work placement agencies’ staff working alongside our teams. We actively encourage young people who are undertaking Duke of Edinburgh awards to volunteer with us. Volunteering is fun and provides a social network of friends for many.
Our stock comes from many sources..
Donated in to our shops, collected from door to door bag drops, items collected by Blackpool Council on our behalf, schools, businesses, etc.
We aim to sell as many of these donated items as we can but any we cannot i.e. due to damage, soilage or legislation we aim to recycle. All recycle items are sold on.
There is currently a warehouse operation being planned so that we can always have stock for our shops, and a central point for customers to drop there stock donated to us at outside of shop opening times.
We aim to offer excellent quality items at fair reasonable prices. We are incredibly diverse in the range of products we sell, and we want to ensure both our customers and donators are happy with our service.
